Jake was introduced to farmworker issues though the Student/Farmworker Alliance and the Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ food-service-provider campaign. After working a number of small farms in Arizona he has been working in Immokalee Florida since August 2011. He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of community organizing, corporate accountability campaigns, creative direct action, and the farmworker justice movement. Jake believes passionately in building a food system where farmworkers -- and all men and women working to bring food to our tables -- are treated with dignity and respect.
